Asian Centre for Research on University Learning and Teaching (ACRULeT) is the Research Interest Group at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The main objective of ACRULeT is to serve as a platform for research activities, publication and staff development. One of the major projects for ACRULeT is organizing an international conference which is InCULT (International Conference on University Learning and Teaching) which is organized every two years. Until now the InCULT conferences have been successfully conducted for nine (9) times in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2014, 2016 and 2018. During the nine (9) conference sessions, InCULT has successfully collaborated with several local and international strategic partners such as the Academy of Leadership of Higher Education (AKEPT), Taylor's University (Malaysia), University of South Australia (UniSA), University of Hertfordshire (UK), McWeadon Education (USA) and Ohio University (USA). In 2010, InCULT had collaborated with the University of Hertfordshire to organize the conference in the United Kingdom, while in 2012, InCULT had been successfully organized in Krabi, Thailand.
In line with the internationalization agenda of UiTM and the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) Malaysia, this conference will be one of UiTM's visibility initiatives in Malaysia and the world stage. In this regard, ACRULeT at the Faculty of Education, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM); together with the Faculty of Educational Studies, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM); Department of International Affairs (DIA), UiTM; and Office of Global Affairs, Ohio University; will hold the 10th InCULT conference themed ” Realising Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the New Norms through Quality Education”. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the world today, the 10th InCULT conference will be held for the first time virtually on December 1-2, 2021. This conference is expected to provide a platform for lecturers, researchers, education managers and administrators to discuss issues relating to teaching and learning, assessment, research and quality assurance in education.
